Sanktuarium i klasztor obronny Paulinów w Częstochowie, gdzie przechowywany jest obraz Matki Bożej Częstochowskiej. Jest to główny ośrodek pielgrzymkowy w Polsce położony na wzgórzu Jansa Góra. Podczas potopu szwedzkiego w 1644 r. doszło do nieudanego oblężenia (obroną przewodził przeor. A. Kordecki). Wydarzenie to przyczyniło się do wzrostu popularności Jasnej Góry. Piesze pielgrzymki do tego miejsca odbywały się już od XIV w.
